Like all of our signature models, CHEERS is handcrafted one by one at THE FAT HATTER. This model is formed using custom-made rabbit fur felt weighing 200g, which is then pressed and steamed over our original wooden (hat) block.
The crown is then hand-shaped.
Usually, a rabbit hat weighs about a100g, but by using this 200g rabbit fur felt,
the hat itself becomes voluminous, giving it a firm and durable finish, yet remarkably soft touch.
The thickness of the material mimics the luxuriousness of a beaver felt.
With the crown height standing at 13.5cm, and the brim width at 9cm,
this showstopper is adorned with a 5mm bound edge and a 38mm grosgrain ribbon, topped with a classical dress bow.
To protect the felt from sweat and grease from your head, the interior of the hat is lined, and includes our original leather sweatband that provide unbeatable comfort.
Impeccably crafted, CHEERS definitely has a stately presence that is hard to ignore.
