OVERSEAS RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
We hope that you will be completely satisfied with your purchase from THE FAT HATTER.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer an international return service.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL on both custom and ready to wear hats, NO RETURNS.
Should you however wish to exchange an item for a different size, you must inform us that you wish to return your goods for an exchange, no more than 5 days after you receive your item, by emailing email@example.com .
*Product must be in original condition with tags attached.
We accept an exchange within 30 days of its receipt of a new and unworn hat; Any returns-for-exchange made after this time will not be accepted for an exchange (unless delayed due to postage and handling).
The cost of returning your item to our facility in JAPAN is at your own expense.
International customers are responsible for all shipping charges in regards to an exchange and return. If there is an issue such as a defect or damaged item, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org before sending any item back.
THE FAT HATTER will only pay the return shipping costs if the return is as a result of our error (incorrect item sent) or the item is proven to be faulty.
We are unable to refund items which have been damaged due to wear and tear and mishandling (example: folding a hat incorrectly, reshaping/altering in anyway).
You may send the hat back using your own courier. You will need to return the hat back in the original condition received in the same packaging within 30 days.
When your return is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. Please allow 10 working days for us to process your refund.
* Please note that using couriers that do not handle fragile boxes correctly can result in the hat being damaged on arrival. Please be aware that goods received crushed or damaged for refund or exchange, may not be refunded if received in an unsaleable condition and/or will be subject to a restock fee.
Please note that we do not accept responsibility for returned items which do not reach us or are lost in the post using your own couriers, so please remember to get a proof of posting from your courier this will cover you if your returned item gets lost.
